2024 FOOD VENDORS RULES & REGULATIONS

2024 The festival is located on the grounds at:

Butler Flea Market
1640 North Main Street
Extension, Butler Pa. 16001

FESTIVAL DATE: September 14, 2024
HOURS: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Open ceremony and National Anthem will be at 11:00 a.m.

The Festival is open to the public from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.

All booths should remain open until 7:30 p.m. You may stay open until 10 p.m. if desired. You will have access to set up beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

PARKING & PARKING PASSES: No vehicles will be permitted access into the venue grounds without a permit during the festival. YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR PARKING PASS in the info packet that will be mailed to you shortly. All parking passes must be displayed in front windshield. NO ELECTRICITY will be available. Vendors are permitted to run a QUIET power generator.

INSURANCE: All applicants expressly agree to release the Pa. Band Initiative and the Butler Flea Market And Events Center, and their agents from all liability for injury, damage, or loss to persons or property. All food vendors, including novelty foods, are responsible for (and must provide documentation) product liability insurance, and adequate coverage for persons working within their booths.  Please submit insurance policy and ServSafe certificate with application if possible; we must have it before setting up.

Food Vendor Rules to follow:

  1. All food vendors must indicate on the registration form, the types of food and drinks they will sell.  In order to avoid excessive duplication of the types of food and drinks sold, no food vendors will be permitted to deviate from the sale of the type of food and drink listed on the registration form without the prior approval of the Pa. Band Initiative Festival Board. All requests must be made in writing.
  2. The set up times for Food Booths begin at 8:00 a.m. – no early birds please.
  3. Please read and understand the Health Board Rules & Regulation
  4. Grease and/ or gray water disposal is NOT Available.
  5. No WATER is provided by the event venue.
  6. Ensure that everyone working in the booth practices safe and sanitary habits at all times.
  7. The handling of money and food at the same time by the same person is prohibited.
  8. All booths must be removed from the venue by 11 p.m. Please be prompt with removal and clean-up.
  9. Respect and courtesy to vendors and patrons is required. Foul language will not be tolerated. Only one warning will be given before expulsion.
  10. The Festival Committee reserves the right to expel anyone not complying with the Festival rules.
